【摘要】:ThisBritishStandardspecifiesthedimensionsrequiredforcorrectmatingof"contact"typecouplingsforconnectingthepneumaticbrakingsystemoftowingvehiclestotrailersorsemi-trailers.Ifnotspecificallydimensioned,thecouplingsmayfollowaformtosuitthemanufacturer.ThisBritishStandardalsospecifiesperformancerequirementsforthecouplings,identitymarkings,serviceability,inspections,andmaintenance.ThelayoutandpositionofthecouplingsonthevehiclearedefinedinBSAU195a:1991andarenotincorporatedinthisrevisedBritishStandard.RubberhoseassembliesarespecifiedinBSAU110a:1995andarenotincorporatedinthisrevisedBritishStandard.CoiledpipeassembliesarespecifiedinISO7375-1:1996,ISO7375-2:1998,ISO7628-1:1998,andISO7628-2:1998,andarenotincorporatedinthisrevisedBritishStandard.ThisBritishStandardappliestotwo-linepneumaticbrakingsystemsandtothreelinepneumaticbrakingsystemsthatincludeasecondaryline.ThisBritishStandardspecifiesCtypeandCAtype"contact"couplings.Ctypecouplingsareusedintwolinebrakingsystems,andtheCAtypeexclusivelyforthesecondarylineofathreelinebrakingsystem.EachoftheassembliesspecifiedinthisBritishStandardareintentionallyphysicallynon-interchangeable.Itisfurtherintendedthateachoftheassembliescannotbedismantledorrepaired.ThisBritishStandardspecifiesthefollowing:a)theformanddimensionsofthematingpartsoftheCtype"contact"couplingandfortheself-sealingvalveandvalveliftertobeincorporatedinthecoupling,toenableittobeusedonthecontroloronthesupplylineofatwo-lineorthree-linepneumaticbrakingsystem;b)theformanddimensionsofthematingpartsoftheCAtype"contact"couplingandfortheself-sealingvalveincorporatedintothefemalecoupling,toenableittobeusedonthesecondarylineofathree-linepneumaticbrakingsystem.
