【摘要】:Theheatingvalueisameasureofthesuitabilityofapuregasoragasmixtureforuseasafuel;itindicatestheamountofenergythatcanbeobtainedasheatbyburningaunitofgas.Foruseasheatingagents,therelativemeritsofgasesfromdifferentsourcesandhavingdifferentcompositionscanbecomparedreadilyonthebasisoftheirheatingvalues.Therefore,theheatingvalueisusedasaparameterfordeterminingthepriceofgasincustodytransfer.Itisalsoanessentialfactorincalculatingtheefficienciesofenergyconversiondevicessuchasgas-firedturbines.Theheatingvaluesofagasdependnotonlyuponthetemperatureandpressure,butalsouponthedegreeofsaturationwithwatervapor.However,somecalorimetricmethodsformeasuringheatingvaluesarebaseduponthegasbeingsaturatedwithwateratthespecifiedconditions.Therelativedensity(specificgravity)ofagasquantifiesthedensityofthegasascomparedwiththatofairunderthesameconditions.1.1Thispracticecoversproceduresforcalculatingheatingvalue,relativedensity,andcompressibilityfactoratbaseconditions(14.696psiaand60176;F(15.6176;C))fornaturalgasmixturesfromcompositionalanalysis.Itappliestoallcommontypesofutilitygaseousfuels,forexample,drynaturalgas,reformedgas,oilgas(bothhighandlowBtu),propane-air,carburetedwatergas,cokeovengas,andretortcoalgas,forwhichsuitablemethodsofanalysisasdescribedinSection6areavailable.Calculationproceduresforotherbaseconditionsaregiven.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.TheSIunitsgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
